So for anyone who really knows me knows I have an addiction to cats ... okay anyone who knows me knows I have a soft spot in my heart for cats. When Brendan was born my mom had 10 cats (yes ... you read correctly ... 10!). In our defense we did live on 13.5 acres - but they were "indoor" cats (or rather they lived indoors in our basement and got "work duty" release for good behavior). David & I had 5 cats at one point - 2 of them were my mom's that I adopted when she passed away, 1 one mine, 1 was a 12 year old we rescued (which I highly recommend over buying kittens) and 1 was a female cat that David brought home from the streets. Needless to say, our kitty litter days were horrendous with 5 kitties in the house. We talked numerous times about buying the automatic scooping litter boxes but figured they wouldn't work as well as they said and the vision of a cat stuck in the scooper just wasn't what I wanted!Well ... we are down to being a 3 cat household. Our cat box cleaning days are not nearly as many as before but it is still a chore that noone in the house likes. What a great addition the Cat Genie 120 would be to our house! AND ... we could put it downstairs in our bathroom and they could have their own privacy! Out of sight - out of mind!
